Cover Information
Hot rodding assumes many faces, oftimes disguised behind almost obscure trappings. One of the most precise dry lakes/Bonneville enthusiasts ever to dust the flying-mile, Tom Spalding has created a masterpiece in his latest kart, while the rodders behind the scenes at Detroit have come up with an interesting new power package in the turbocharged Oldsmobile F-85. More apparent to the undiscerning eye might be Toland “Buz” Pitsen’s immaculate street “T” with a glass body. The color transparencies are by Oldsmobile and HRM’s staff Ad Manager: Tom Medley. Photo Editor: Eric Rickman.
