Hot Rod Magazine Archive
Hot Rod magazine was first published in 1948 by Robert E. Petersen. It quickly became a popular publication among hot rod enthusiasts and helped to popularize the hot rod culture in the United States. Over the years, Hot Rod magazine has featured articles on all aspects of hot rodding, from engine building and suspension tuning to drag racing and land speed racing.
The magazine has changed ownership several times over the years, and it is currently owned by MotorTrend Group, which is also the publisher of several other automotive publications, including Car and Driver and Road & Track.
