JBA Motors, initially named JBA Engineering after its three founders—Kenneth Glyn Jones, John Barlow, and David George Ashley, former engineers at British Leyland—was headquartered in Norwich, Norfolk. After Barlow’s departure, Jones and Ashley managed the company until 2004. The production of the JBA Falcon commenced in 1982, with some models dating back to 1979. Over the years, the Falcon line expanded to include the Roadster, Javelin, Falcon Plus Two, Falcon Sports, and Falcon Tourer. In 1991, the JBA Falcon Sports SR debuted, utilizing Ford Sierra components, followed by the Falcon TSR in 1994. By July 2004, Jones and Ashley relocated the company to Standish, Greater Manchester, where Tim Banwell acquired the factory on August 1. However, in 2007, JBA Engineering faced administration after Banwell announced the company’s sale in 2006
