Pontiac Intake Manifold Casting Numbers

Information about this item:

In the history of the modern Pontiac V8, a multiple of intake manifolds were cast each year. As early as 1956, there were multiple carburetor intakes, with 1956 debuting a 2 4-barrel unit, and ending with a 3 2-barrel unit in 1966. In 1968, the spohisticated cylinder heads of the Ram Air cars required special 4-barrel manifolds as well.

We would welcome statisical information that would clarify or correct the casting numbers and adding any missing part/casting numbers. If you have any additional or corrected information, please contact us at librarian@wildaboutcars.com.
