They are characters, but they are real characters, not interpretations locked in newsprint.

To get his hard eight, Bo built two ’62 Chevy II four-cylinder mills. One fits his roadster and mates to a three-speed, the other was installed into his ’27 Ford sedan with a Powerglide trans.
