AHPSOC Description

BIGGEST and newest of the Ford engine lineup is a 406 cubic inch mill which puts out 405 horses at 5,800 rpm breathing through three two’s. It also delivers a very respectable 448 lb/ft of torque at 3,500 rpm, which would prompt most people to think in terms of matching the 406 to Ford’s new four-speed box.
